Africa Writes Young Voices Showcase
Saturday 30 June, British Library
09:45 – 11:30 FREE
Come and hear brand new poetry from emerging writers across our capital. Inspired by African
literature, students from London schools participating in this year’s programme will take to the stage
to perform the poetry they have written and developed over several weeks with the support of a poet
or facilitator from the Africa Writes community.
Join us after this event for Why African Literature Matters – a round-table on African literature in education, 12:00 – 13:30.
