Africa Writes 2021 – LONDON

Africa Writes returns in 2021 from 4 to 24 October 2021 with a blended programme of online and in-person events. The in person events will take place on the 23 and 24 October at the British Library. We are building a team of committed and interested volunteers who are passionate about African literature. As a volunteer you’ll learn more about the Royal African Society as an organisation, be involved in some exciting programmes and events, and get an opportunity to meet like-minded people. Many of the programme staff started their involvement with the festival as volunteers!

Our volunteers tell us that the experience is valuable for gathering skills, having fun and meeting new people (and amazing writers)!

Applications for Africa Writes 2021 are now open. If you would like to volunteer, please send a covering letter and CV to Iman Saleh on ras_festivals@soas.ac.uk. The deadline is Wednesday 29 September 2021.
