Crossing generational and geographical borders, we bring together a group of African women poets to share their works and reflect on what it means to write and use one’s voice as a woman. Covering experiences of gender-based violence and migration, through to questions of creative freedom, pleasure and transgression, these African women poets are using their voices to reclaim their rightful place.
