This session showcases poetry from emerging and established voices, featuring readings and performances that cross language, media and form.

In May 2015 Nick Makoha was announced as the joint winner of the 2015 Brunel University African Poetry Prize. Praised by the judges for his ‘lyrical and beautiful’ poetry, the event concludes with a celebration and performance of this work.
