Africa in London

Africa in London
Saturday 6 July, 11:30 – 12:15
British Library Knowledge Centre, Bronte Room

With Kinsi Abdulleh, Ashley Hickson-Lovecone, JJ Bola and Debo Amon.

Join us for a collective listening session to hear the diverse sounds and stories of Africans living in London and an artistic response to these testimonies. We come together to explore a range of experiences and reflections collected by the Citizens Research Network at the Mayor of London’s office.

Africa in London is the Mayor of London’s new programme introduced to highlight African cultural events in London. A digital hub and marketing campaign will showcase events within the June to September 2019 period. Funding and mentoring opportunities will be available to support the growth of African creativity in London.

In partnership with Mayor of London & British Council.
