Guest speakers from Africa Writes 2017 will be heading up to Edinburgh for a pop up festival where they will be discussing creative industries and publishing in Africa. The guests include Louise Umutoni, founder of Rwandan-based publishing press, Huza Press. Abdulai Silá, author of The Ultimate Tragedy, the first novel ever to be translated into English from Guinea Bissau and Jethro Soutar, an English writer and translator specialising mainly in Spanish and Portuguese literature.
